In the era of LED displays, mobile applications, a crazy race for battery life and flooding the user with tons of accessories, a manufacturer has appeared who decided to return to the real roots of vaporization. For what style! DynaVap, with its series of products, proved that it is possible to create a work that will combine modern technology and cosmic materials with a concept known already at the beginning of the 20th century.

How VapCap M works:

I must admit that while the good old glass barrel, available at one time in every traffic kiosk, is not a mystery to me, DynaVap VapCap aroused my sincere interest. The idea of vaporization is to heat the material to the right temperature, usually without the use of open fire, until the active substances begin to release. It is completely different in the case of the tested model, which uses a lighter as a heat source.

VapCap design

It consists of a metal cap, a small, titanium stem with a capacity of 0.1 - 0.15 g, a capacitor and a metal body. The titanium bowl is the place where we load the ground herbs (in my opinion, well ground material works best), and the capacitor is actually a conductor responsible for delivering steam to the mouth. All of this is embedded in a body made of stainless steel. Metal usWe put the tab on the bowl when we want to start our session. All we have to do to get the steam out is put the lighter flame against the cap. So, despite the use of an open source of fire, the flame has no direct contact with our herbs. And here's the first point. While an ordinary lighter, such as BIC, can handle it, I definitely recommend using an incandescent lighter during the session. To ensure that the bowl heats up evenly, rotate the vaporizer while inhaling. And here the question arises, how will we know that VapCap has reached a sufficiently high temperature for inhalation? Not too high so as not to burn through the material unnecessarily, but at the same time sufficient to extract sufficiently dense and aromatic steam. And here we get to know all the magic of VapCap. The vaporizer will inform you about the appropriate temperature by a gentle click. Then move the source of fire away from the cap and start inhaling the steam, while blocking the clutch on the body of the vaporizer with your finger. With the clutch, we can regulate the air flow, and thus also the vapor density. When the temperature drops too much, we will hear a second click. Release the bowl to the end, inhale the rest of the steam from the condenser and voile! All philosophy! Zero electronics, zero batteries, zero charging.

In my case, an interesting solution was to start the session by heating the very tip of the vaporizer, and with the next cloud, move the fire a little closer to the center of the body.

A simple brush and a bit of alcohol will bring this baby to a perfect state in a minute. As far as typical utility issues are concerned, the fact that VapCap gets hot should also be mentioned. It may be an obvious matter, but the temperature of the vaporizer is so high that it can burn a hole in the synthetic material of the pocket in a split second. To avoid this, just wait for the device to cool down and click.To slightly speed up the cooling process, you can put the vaporizer on some cool surface, e.g. metal.

Production quality :

The production quality of the tested VapCap is simply amazing. Each component is made with attention to the smallest detail, and the materials used are of the highest quality. He is not afraid of falls from a height or accidental wetting. The vaporizer is elegant in its appearance and seems solid at first glance. The whole thing is complemented by the fact that VapCap does not have any electronics and therefore, if properly cared for, it will faithfully accompany us for the rest of our lives. Unless, of course, we plant it during some maneuvers!

Summary:

The VapCap has a relatively small head, so it's a great device for one or two people. Due to its small dimensions and weight, it will be perfect for traveling, outdoors and in a tent. In addition, it is made of stainless steel and does not require a power source, except maybe a lighter. The open source of fire does have a slight impact on discretion in use, but if that's not your biggest concern, you shouldn't be discouraged from reaching for this gem. At its affordable price, VapCap can turn out to be a great, first vaporizer or an interesting addition to the collection for outdoor trips or "emergency" situations.
