First, let's clear up one thing. When it comes to sensations, in the case of stationary vaporizers, I will always hang the bar a little higher than in the case of portable devices. Reason? Designers are not so limited by the weight or dimensions of the product. The average user is not interested in whether the device weighs 50 or even 100 grams more, it takes up a few or several centimeters more. The problem of battery capacity in the case of devices powered from the socket also does not exist.

Let's start with the balloons. The first big advantage of balloon sessions is that the steam has time to cool down completely before inhaling. At the lowest fan setting, the vapor density and flavor are at the highest level. We can be sure that our lungs will get clouds full of aroma. The aroma and sensations really put you in the chair.

ifwe decide to use the vaporizer in shisha mode, we have to accept the loss of a bit of aroma and vapor density. This does not mean that the session will not bemust not be pleasant. It's just that our clouds will not be so full of flavor. On the other hand, we will be able to enjoy almost immediate readiness of the vaporizer to work and ease of use for several people. I definitely recommend this solution for an atmospheric party with friends.

The use of Arizer Extreme Q is relatively simple and requires no special learning process from the user. Despite the remote control and a lot of additional accessories, the preparation and the session itself are simple and pleasant.

We start by turning on the device by pressing the power button on the front of the vaporizer. Then, using the up / down buttons, select the temperature of interest. The next step is to load the bowl with finely ground herbs to about ⅓ of the height of the bowl (make sure the rubberized end of the bowl is pointing upwards). When the unit is warming up (2-3 minutes), you can put a balloon or shisha hose and start the fan. The fan power and the temperature are something that you have to experiment with, depending on your preferences and the type of material used, but I think one hint will be helpful: start the session at a lower temperature, so that the herbs have the opportunity to preheat, and then raise the temperature as you approach the end of your session. Sometimes it is good to use a glass spatula to mix the herbs. Be careful with all glass elementsVaporizer components. They can get hot during longer sessions. The manual is not one of the best in the industry, but it does the job and you can learn from it about all aspects of using Extreme Q. Comfort lovers will appreciate the remote control with which we are able to manage all the functions of the unit: backlight, fan, time and temperature . In terms of maintenance and cleaning, Extreme Q is very user-friendly. Strainers absorb the most dirt, so it is worth cleaning them regularly or equipping yourself with an adequate number of spare ones, so that they do not affect the quality of steam and the filling time of balloons. Apart from the screens, practically the only elements that require regular cleaning are all glass elements. It is enough to immerse the glass elements in isopropyl alcohol for about 30 minutes (extremely dirty places can be cleaned with a brush), then rinse them thoroughly and wipe with a paper towel.

Temperature ranger

Arizer Extreme Q works in the range of 50-260 C and has temperature regulation with an accuracy of 1 C. The temperature can be adjusted from the level of the device or using the included remote control, which additionally has shortcut keys that shorten the service time. It takes approx. 2-3 minutes to fully heat up the unit.

Power

The tested unit does not have its own power supply (which is actually rrather a standard among stationary vaporizers). Power is supplied via the included cable and through a 230 V mains socket. Manufacturers also took care of the appropriate length of the power cable.

In the case of a stationary unit, focus on the issue of odors. The intensity of the aroma will depend on the chosen method and it seems to be slightly higher in the shisha mode, however the smell in the room does not last long and remains within the normal range.

The second thing is the appearance of the tested device, which resembles an element of kitchen equipment - or at least the base itself, without balloons and additional hoses. The nature of Extreme Q does not raise any suspicions.

Summary

In terms of price-performance, the Arizer Extreme Q is definitely one of the best options on the market today. Undoubtedly, this has an impact on the popularity of thesethe vaporizer. Ease of use and minimum maintenance are important. We enjoy the possibility of vaporizing with balloons and in shisha mode, as well as the included remote control and a lot of accessories. The temperature range and accuracy of heating are undoubtedly the advantages of this unit. Compared to the previous version, the manufacturer has done his homework, introducing many improvements. The disadvantages include the strongly heating up bowl, which undoubtedly makes it difficult to reload. The time it takes to fully inflate the balloon is approximately 2 minutes. This is a result that, compared to the 30 seconds for Volcano, does not knock you off your feet. The valve on the balloon is also missing, which forces the user to manually plug the valve, eg when handing over "treats". To sum up, Arizer Extreme Q is a great proposition for those who are just starting their adventure with vaporization, as well as for a true connoisseur. If, in addition, our budget does not allow us to buy Volcano, I think there is nothing to think about for too long.
