You've probably seen movies and photos where people use their vaporizers to produce thick, milky clouds. You probably tried to achieve a similar result, but ended up with rare and weak results. So what went wrong ?!
There can be many factors, and the article below will show you likely causes and suggest solutions. To be honest, you won't get super thick vapor from any type of dry vapor vaporizer. In most cases, you will get a small to medium 'vapor effect' - but not like a cigarette, and especially not like e-cigarettes or similar devices.">This text tells you how to increase the effects - get more vapor from your vaporizer - and not how to produce massive clouds.Now that you know what solutions to expect, let's get started!
Solution 1: Make sure your drought is completely dry.
There is a good reason why these devices are called dry herb vaporizers, right? Therefore, the drier you use the cartridge, the better the vaporization effect you will get. You should always try to stock up on the driest herbs possible. If you feel that your material is not dry enough, there are several ways to change this:
- use a glass jar - leave it overnight without a lid, with a tissue at the bottom and dry on top. It will help to prevent fungus formation if the moisture content of the herbs is too high;
- useat rice - as rice is a very good moisture absorber, leave your herbs in it for a few hours. After taking out, take care to remove all rice grain shards;
- use pEater - put the dried on baking paper, preheating the oven to a temperature in the range of 38-66 C, and then heat it for about 10 minutes. If, after this time, the drought does not completely lose its moisture, turn it over and repeat the process. Do not overdo it with time, otherwise you will bake the contents of the oven;
- use papiron and plastic - put the dry in a paper bag for 6-8 hours, then put it in a plastic bag for another 5-7 hours. Then repeat the whole operation, not changing the order of using the bags, but shortening the storage time in both bags by about an hour. This method allows you to reduce the moisture evenly, preventing more drying on the outside than on the inside.
Solution 2: Use a good quality grinder.
The right consistency of the ground drought makes it easier for vaporizers to heat their contents more evenly and efficiently. The better the vaporizer when heated, the larger clouds you can produce. Check e.g. grinder SLX, and you will see what the consistency of the ground dried material is, how quickly and effectively it grinded, and it does not stick to a special surface, which means that it does not need to be cleaned too often.
Solution 3: Fill the combustion chamber tightly (but do not overdo it).
Many types of vaporizers for smoking herbs have in their user manual a description of the amount of herbs you should put in the chamber. As a rule, however, to achieve a better steam effect, the chamber must be tightly filled - steam is released from the herbs, so the more herbs you use, the denser the steam produced will be. This dependence, however, results mainly from the type of vaporizer you will be using. In some cases, overfilling the chamber may impede the flow of air, then you should look for the optimal amount.
For example,in the vaporizer Craftswhere the chamber is located directly under the mouthoverloading it may limit the airflow, and thus disrupt the vaporization process. On the other hand, there are a number of vaporizers, where the chamber and the mouthpiece are mounted on opposite sides, then the excessive amount of herbs is not such a problem.
Solution 4: Choose a higher temperature.
- 160 C: activation of trace amounts of cannabinoids, slight taste sensation, negligible amount of steam
- 160 C to 174 C: activation of a small amount of cannabinoids, increasing the taste sensations proportional to the temperature increase (recommended for the beginning ofa gentle amount of steam
- 174 C to 199 C: production of cannabinoids and terpenes at the highest level, the best quality of taste sensations, optimal temperature range, medium-sized clouds
- 199 C to 240 C: rough, almost parched aftertaste, recommended for experienced vapers, largest clouds
Solution 5: Change your vaporization technique.
If you care about large clouds, choosing the right technique is as important as the equipment you use. Improving the inhalation and exhalation system can bring significant results. Try the technique of direct lung inhale - DLI:
-
empty your lungs as much as possible
-
draw steam directly down the throat and then into the lungs
-
exhale slowly
Using the above technique you will produce larger clouds than during the normal inhalation process. If you want to go to a higher level, you can apply more inhalations, but this is already a technique for more advanced people. The method recommended for the most experienced vapers is to take a series of several smaller puffs, and then inhaling the entire contents at once to the lungs.
Solution 6: Change your vaporizer model.
Some "safe" limes are manufactured with discretion in mind, so as not to attract attention, arouse interest and not sting the eyes. Therefore, none of the methods will give you the effect of a solid cloud, as it is contrary to the general assumptions of manufacturers of such devices. There is nothing discreet about a powerful cloud.
You can be equalwith a vaporizer with a pre-set temperature level. These types of devices heat up quickly, allowing you to take a single breath to quickly repeat the process. Devices of this type do not offer great opportunities to produce sumptuous clouds. As a rule, they have smaller heating chambers, which results in the production of less steam. The same is the case with the so-called penvapes. Here, too, you cannot count on large clouds, which is caused by a small heating chamber.
In conclusion, many partsfactors affect how large the clouds your vaporizer produces. The basic rule of a good vaporization is to use very dry and well-ground herbs. This should be the starting point from which we begin our adventure with evaporating herbs. It is also worth paying attention to the inhalation technique itself. This is best done slowly, without haste, as if you were "drinking hot coffee". However, if you are still looking for a device that will overspto meet your needs in terms of steam production or you are before buying your first device, we recommend a few "sureties" that will definitely not disappoint in this topic:
Mighty - cult vaporizer, number 1 in vapor production
Ghost MV1 - a powerful vaporizer that produces "on demand" vapor
Fenix Mini - small and very effective at a competitive price
